Introduction to Intercessory Worship

This class is foundational in the House of Prayer. This introductory class covers the prophetic history of New Haven, why we do what we do, an introduction to the how’s and why’s of the harp and bowl prayer model, and a preview of the heart issues of a consecrated prayer life.

The Core Values

The core values at the House of Prayer are the foundational truths that when passionately pursued sustain the believer in a life long quest to know this man Christ Jesus. Living these truths as a life style cause our heart to be continually fascinated with Him and create a safeguard from carnality.

Bridal Paradigm: The Lord is not coming for a victorious army, a functioning body, or a flock that has united … He is coming for a Bride that has prepared herself. A Bridal Paradigm will ignite your devotional life, come discover the Biblical view of Jesus the lover searching for and rescuing His Bride. This revelation of love will dramatically impact your devotional life resulting in the believer encountering the heart of God.
Intimacy: The extent to which you live a Surrendered Life will be determined by your level of intimacy. Intimacy is the motivation that keeps you returning to the prayer room to encounter the heart of God. Intimacy is what unlocks the mysteries of God. This study gives us the divine pattern for the progression of holy passion (maturity of the believer). The “measure of the Father’s loving affection and enjoyment” of Jesus is the standard of the Son’s affection for us . “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you…”(Jn. 15:9)
End Times: The study of the End Times really seems difficult, who can understand it? Why is it important, and should it really be studied? The pursuit of God’s heart concerning the end times reveals The Eschatological Beauty of God. Attendees will receive revelation that will convince them of God’s strategy to raise up a last days prayer army that will “pray in” the Lord’s return making time in the prayer room more exciting and meaningful than most could ever imagine.
SonShip: Sons Change The World Babes Don’t, attendees will realize how to pray in a manner that produces God sized results. Jesus, the Apostles and their disciples understood the difference between Orphan thinking and SonShip. They lived by what the Father said and understood what it meant to Kathidzo and after this session so will you.
The Sermon on the Mount Lifestyle: The Sermon on the Mount is the “constitution of God’s Kingdom.” It is the litmus test to measure spiritual development and ministry impact. We measure our ministry impact by how much people seek to walk out the Sermon on the Mount values (not by the size of our ministry). The values learned in this study are to be the themes that we are to emphasize most in our lives and ministries. You will discover the way God’s Kingdom will run forever and ever, the only way to true happiness, and how a person who is in right relationship with God should conduct his life
Beauty of God: The fascinating God created us with a need to be fascinated. God's answer is the unveiling of Christ Jesus to fascinate the human spirit. Jesus will use Divine entertainment to satisfy our longings. When God reveals God to the human spirit, there is a superior pleasure to any other pleasure in life. In the romance of the gospel Jesus not only heals and forgives, but He fascinates our heart with splendor and beauty. We have a beautiful God who beckons His people to fill their lives with His Word and prayer. When marvel is restored and we live awestruck, we are spiritually strong. A fascinated man does not need pornography. A spiritually stagnant believer is vulnerable to the vices of darkness. If we live fascinated by the Lord we do not need the stuff the world offers. We are invited on a Holy Spirit treasure hunt to search for the deep treasures of His splendor that is purposefully hidden in the heart of God. This is the most intense treasure hunt imaginable. It will continue forever. There is nothing more exhilarating than when God reveals God to the human spirit. We focus on climbing this “mountain of mystery” or entering this “vast ocean of endless beauty.” Even small tokens of the knowledge of God will capture and exhilarate the human heart in time and eternity (Is. 6:3; Rev. 4:8-11)
Tabernacle of David: King David set up a tabernacle and staffed it with singers and musicians. God said in the Last Days He would restore it in the Earth. It is an amazing study to discover the aspects of what happens in that environment.

Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Food Storage Potluck
Bring your preparedness cooking gear and utensils and put them to good use as we practice making, buying, selling and bartering food storage items.

How It Works:

Before Saturday rotate your food storage (check expiration dates), select food to prepare and share. At the workshop you will cook on site with your Coleman, sun oven, or Bunsen burner (whatever you plan to use in crisis) and all necessary utensils. Everyone will get to put into practice their food prep plan and also sample different food items and brands.

Divine Appointment Training

Divine Appointments is the name of the Healing Rooms ministry. Healing Rooms are a natural component to the House of Prayer. Healing rooms are designated rooms, in the House of Prayer, where a ministry team will pray for an individual seeking God’s intervention in their life. The team ministers the love and power of God to individuals seeking healing. The prayer team consists of believers that are trained in prayer, with a desire to see people healed and set free. Our method is to minister to seekers, as a team through prayer. This training is a prerequisite to being placed on a Divine Appointment Team.

Prayer Evangelism Training

Praying for people on the street is not a gimmick for presenting the gospel. In the ministry of Jesus and the early apostles, the prayers that were prayed for the unbelievers on the streets were powerful and effective to meet their needs and God has not changed! It is important that those Christians that participate in Prayer Evangelism are prepared to believe God for the miraculous. Attendees will learn how to set up a “prayer station” and invited to participate in real time scenarios. This is an effective tool and great fun!

Prayer Usher Training

Altar Ministry is an application of the “One Second Principle” – God can do more in a person’s life in one second than we could in a whole lifetime of analyzing and “helping”. It allows for a personal response to the gospel – to actively respond to the message and making a physical declaration of their need or decision. This is an exciting ministry and a valuable training for every Christian who prays with others.

New Haven Orientation

Discover the prophetic history of New Haven and why leaders from around the city consider us a “prayer gate” of Houston. Information about the church government, great stories from the past and the vision for the future will give you a sense of belonging to an amazing “movement” of the Spirit. This class will put you in position to fulfill your destiny as God takes us on a corporate journey together.
